A Stroll in the Park: Fall Decor at Knott's

Pumpkins and Fall decor adorn Main Street in Ghost Town at Knott's Berry Farm.

It's that time of the year again. The temperatures are starting to cool, the leaves are starting to change color, the days are getting shorter, and Knott's has been decorated for the Halloween season!

While the big draw in September and October is Scary Farm at Knott's, a day visit is not to be missed. The park goes all out, with decorations adorning every nook and cranny. As expected, the decor team put up spooky favorites such as the skeleton characters, large spiders, and cobwebs everywhere.

In addition, they took a slightly different approach this year, celebrating the season with hundreds (maybe thousands) of pumpkins and corn stalks placed strategically (and meticulously) around the park. The result is absolutely beautiful. The family-friendly decor and landscape captures the feel of Halloween while creating visual beauty that all guests can enjoy. Both the Park Decor and the Landscape teams should be commended for their work that blows neighboring attractions out of the water. Look for special photos ops with wing backgrounds created by artists specifically for Knott's Berry Farm. Visit the Into the Fog Art Gallery in the shop next to the Bumper Cars. Don't forget... the Timber Mountain Log Ride has been transformed into the "Halloween Hootenanny," featuring music from Krazy Kirk and The Hillbillies. During summer Halloween conventions and at the Scary Farm preview in August, management promised that the park would become an attraction in itself during the busy Halloween season. They delivered on that promise. Enjoy the photos below taken opening weekend of Scary Farm, but schedule a day trip yourself to take it all in.

Ghost Town Decor

Ghost Town has been known for its cobwebs and spooky decor. This year, pumpkins and corn stalks have been added to the mix. Also, new this year is a scare zone in the mission area near Silver Bullet. While filled with monsters at night, a day visit is perfect for really cool photo ops.
